The Rachel Ray show recently featured an acai berry juice blend called Monavie. Although she touted the benefits of the acai berry righteously the Monavie product is an overpriced, over-hyped product. Monavie is a blend of a bunch of different juices and for the price you can get a month’s supply of high potency acai berry supplement powder or capsules.
When you take a closer look at Monavie you can see what is really going on behind the scenes. Monavie is a MLM (multi level marketing) scheme similar to Avon or Amway. We looked at the Monavie terms of service and noticed that they had a very inclusive non-compete clause with Amway and Quixstar. What does this mean? It means not only that Monavie is a multi-level marketing scheme but also that they are offering the Monavie acai berry juice blend to Amway and Quixstar members. Talk about an MLM assault. You see Monavie everywhere because all their MLM representatives are promoting the product like crazy trying to make some dough.
At any rate acai berry juice was on the Rachel Ray show, the clip is below:

Rachel Ray is more of a celebrity than a helath expert and I agree that the monavie product is overpriced. I get about 10 myspace messages a day trying to get me to buy Monavie.

Rachel Ray is an idoit….I have no idea why anyone would listen to her. At least Oprah has half a brain. There are about a million acai products out there better than Monavie.
